Since a few days I am a proud owner of an Apple Powerbook G4! The Hardware as well as the Software is simply astonishing.

For me as a long time (often frustrated) Windows user I now switched to Mac OS X.
I tried a dozen of Operating Systems before, but none impressed my as much as Mac OS X does. Simply said: It’s fun to work with a Mac.

I am currently downloading WindowsXP Service Pack 2 and I’m a little bit confused about this warning on the download page of XP SP2: „DO NOT CLICK DOWNLOAD IF YOU ARE UPDATING JUST ONE COMPUTER“. Why shouldn’t I download this? May this cause a malfunction of my whole Windows XP System if I download this Service Pack just for updating one PC? I am very confused now and I hope that nothing horrible will occur. 🙂

Fortunately my MacOS X Box is on the way, so such warnings should not bother me anymore.

I recently read a few things about Apple products. I hear(ed) things like „IPod“, „Itunes“, „OS X Tiger“, and so on all the time. But I never took a closer look.

A few days ago, Apple announced MacOS X Tiger, here is a short overview.

I have worked on many different Operating Systems, but never ever with MacOS X. Right now I’am thinking that i missed one of best.

Ok, the title is a bit crazy, but I realized once again, that Movable Type is really a great publishing system. The option to upload an image is very easy to use and extremely intuitive. Just a few minutes before i thought uploading an image an embedding it into a weblog would be a complicated task, but it isn’t with Movable Type.

I decided to disable the comments on my weblog entries, because spammers used it for entering links to their internet pages.

I created my On Tour Weblog, because in exactly one week i will travel to Cambodia for about 2 1/2 weeks. During this time I will only update the OnTour Blog.
